The focus of this review process will vary depending upon the size and complexity of the firm but will always produce a snapshot of the shape of the businesses and potential opportunities for further development. The review process is designed to be completed within 1 week with minimal disruption to senior management.

For small firms, this involves testing the founders vision for their business and objectives. We are then able to highlight any differences in ultimate goals and may have developed over time and suggest next steps in development that will gain consensus approval.

Where firms have multiple services lines, sectors and/or geographies we produce a simple matrix highlighting the total capabilities of the firm. We then engage with those executives with ultimate P&L responsibility to gauge their reaction to obvious leverage opportunities. This allows us to produce a prioritised list of markets for development that have the support of all relevant executives.

Following our review Navitas is able to further explore opportunities highlighted. This may be a more detailed market study, acquisition targeting, team hire/build or a traditional executive search project.
