Two Key Financial Services Experts Join A.T. Kearney Financial Institutions Practice

NEW YORK, January 22, 2009 — A.T. Kearney, the global management consulting firm, announced the appointment of two new vice presidents to its Financial Institutions Group, Srini Venkateswaran and Michael Kim, who will be based in the firm’s New York office. Srini Venkateswaran brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He comes to A.T. Kearney from Citibank, where most recently he was the Senior Vice President for Strategy within Citi Cards.

There, he led a range of initiatives to assess new markets, M&A opportunities, partner co-branding and internet cross-selling. Prior to Citi Cards, Srini had spent nine years at Booz Allen Hamilton in their New York office, where his primary areas of focus included cards and payments, retail banking, and money management. Srini received an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. An acknowledged expert in strategy, distribution, product architecture and M&A and post-merger integration, Srini has also authored papers on the Asset Management and Mortgage industries.

Michael Kim joins A.T. Kearney from Diamond Management & Technology Consultants where he was a Partner in the North American Insurance Practice. During his 12 years at Diamond, he served clients across Insurance, Banking and Healthcare industries, specializing in property & casualty insurance, life & health insurance, and payments. Mike’s expertise is known to the field, and he has presented research on competitive strategy, underwriting effectiveness, customer experience, and IT strategy. Mike completed his MBA from the University of Chicago and has a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
